The Jackson County Historical Society JOURNAL (ISSN: 0888-4978)

Those interested in United States, Missouri state and local history are invited to subscribe and contribute to the Jackson County Historical Society JOURNAL. The periodical is published as a benefit of membership twice annually (Spring and Autumn). The Society is a nonprofit organization committed to preserving and promoting the rich history of Jackson County, Missouri.

Individual copies, when available, are $5.00 each. Members and friends of the Jackson County Historical Society may also receive Society News, printed quarterly, and may subscribe to an e-mail newsletter forum.

Beginning with the Spring 2001 JOURNAL, an online version is available for readers who have access to the World Wide Web. The online version provides additional items of interest that relates to stories appearing in the printed version of the JOURNAL. We are also planning and preparing to release in the future an index to the JOURNAL that will cover 1959 to the present. We hope this may increase access to historical topics explored in the Jackson County Historical Society JOURNAL.

If you have ideas for future topics, contact our JOURNAL staff.
