Saturday Lecture Series at Arrow Rock, Missouri, Saturday, August 2, 2014—10 a.m. Arrow Rock State Historic Site Auditorium, Arrow Rock, Missouri. Gary Jenkins’ Documentary: “Negroes To Hire: Slave Life and Culture on Antebellum Missouri Farms.” Please be advised that there is a bridge being replaced on Hwy. 41 just south of Lamine, MO which will affect traffic coming to Arrow Rock from the east that would normally take Exit 98 (Pilot Grove/Arrow Rock) from I-70. While the work is underway (from July 7 to October), traffic will be diverted to Exit 89 (Blackwater/Arrow Rock). Please allow an extra 10-15 minutes for your trip.
