Wide Open Town: Kansas City during the Pendergast Era

The Missouri Valley Special Collections of the Kansas City Public Library is co-sponsoring with the University of Missouri-Kansas City History Department this upcoming conference:

The Wide Open Town Symposium features presentations from several professional historians sharing their new research and an evening keynote lecture at the Kansas City Public Library's Plaza Branch. The conference explores the 1920s and '30s in Kansas City history – the “Pendergast Era.”

It is free and open to the general public.
