Oh Volunteers!

Do you have at least three-four hours a week to spare? Jackson County Historical Society is in search of new recruits to add to our league of extraordinary volunteers. In addition to monetary gifts and membership dues, many members and non-members give some of their precious time to the Jackson County Historical Society. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities for those wishing to donate some hours to the Jackson County Historical Society. All work is unpaid, but we do offer the non-taxable benefits of new skills, friendships, and the satisfaction knowing you've helped advance historical knowledge! Plus, you have the opportunity to work in some of Independence's historical landmarks and become an expert on local history.
